Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we have technicians all over the state and can get to you within 2 or 3 days max for most remote locations. If you only have a couple of tags and is located in the country then we might quote you by the hour, as unfortunately the number of tags won't reach the minimum job amount. Our promise to our regional clients is that we’ll get the job done wherever they might be in NSW and always be reasonable in our pricing.
We can’t legally say we are the best, but we do offer competitive pricing, have a long experience in test and tagging and all of our technicians are highly professional and qualified in electrical testing.
We quote based on a couple of criterias:
- How far you are from Sydney CBD
- The amount of tags you have
- How accessible your site
- Do we need to do an induction (like with hospitals for example)
- Type of work your business does (civil vs construction).
Essentially, we most often end up either quoting you by tags or by the hour, in order to ensure complete transparency in our pricing.
To further illustrate what this means in practice:
We could say, we’ll do your tags at $2.00 per tag or unfortunately we’ll have to do this job by the hour as it’s not viable to quote based on tag numbers, if so, we'll then we’ll give you an hourly rate and an estimate of how long the job might take (based on what you tell us).
Our aim is to be 100% transparent with you about our pricing and always happy to provide you with an itemised invoices upon request.
- As indicated on the process section on our company page, we’ll test your equipment, then place a tag on it, indicating the inspection results (pass or fail).
Passed testing equipment will be labled accordingly and put back in service, failed equipment will have a tag with a warning indicating failed status. You should not use failed equipment as indicated by the warning, and we highly advise against placing failed equipment back into service because that would be a breach of the applicable standards. We'll explain the necessary next steps for failed equipment while on site.
After all testing has been completed, we’ll email you a copy report for your records and get in touch with you for when your next tests are due, so you never have to worry about missing a test with us.
No, we try to work our way through the entire site by following a testing plan, and we only unplug one piece of equipment at a time to test, this way you can keep working while we work through your job site with efficiency.
